UC Library - JOhn Turner AT Ambassador

John Turner, author, Appalachian Trail Ambassador, and trail maintainer for the GA Appalachian Trail Club, will join us on June 25th@1pm at the Union County Public Library .

His discussion will explain how the Appalachian Trail began as the vision of one man, how the trail has evolved over the decades, what his hike from Georgia to Maine was like, and what the GA Appalachian Trail Club and other volunteer clubs do to maintain the Appalachian Trail that is now famous throughout the world with long-distance hikers.
