Transform Your Life With Essential Oils: Tri-County Women’s Connection has an exciting luncheon planned Wednesday, April 5th. Ever enjoyed the scent of a rose? Then you have experienced the aromatic qualities of essential oils! Debra Reynaud introduces us to essential oils, their benefits and how to use them. In addition to their intrinsic benefits to plants and their beautiful fragrance, essential oils are used for food preparation, beauty treatment, and a wide range of emotional and physical wellness needs…as a single oil or complex oil blend. These naturally occurring aromatic compounds are found in the seeds, bark, stems, roots, flowers and other parts of plants. Even with pure essential oils, the composition of the oil can vary depending on the time of day, season, geographic location, method and duration of distillation, year grown, and the weather, making every step of the production process critical to the overall quality of the essential oil product. Debra is a health/wellness advocate. She teaches use of oils through one on one instruction and in groups. During our presentation, Debra will demonstrate peppermint, lemon and lavender. There will be some raffle giveaways and one on one instruction! Debra has been a Physical Therapist for 19 years, graduating from Shenandoah University in 1997 with a Master’s of Physical Therapy. For the past 9 years, Debra, her husband and family have lived in Hayesville. She enjoys travel, hiking, water skiing and boating. Check out the Facebook page, Gifts of the Earth. Next, Patti Martin brightens our day with music! Patti grew up in Alabama, and has been singing all of her life. She sang in Choirs, becoming a Soloist while attending college. Patti enjoyed a teaching career in Florida for 30+ years. She lives in Blue Ridge with her husband, Tom, and enjoys Genealogy in her spare time. Our luncheon program concludes with Lynda Young. Lynda shares a life principle she learned in the Redwood Forest, comparing “root wrapping” to how people relate and connect to each other. She is co-founder of Kindred Spirits International whose outreach includes children’s hospitals and a women’s refugee mission in Kenya. She is the author of the You Are Not Alone book series, which encourages families of children with chronic conditions, and Hope for Families of Children with Cancer. Lynda and her husband, John, live in Snellville, Georgia; have four children, eleven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Join us April 5th at Monet’s in Blairsville. Invite a friend!
