Tri-County Women's Connection Luncheon & Program

Teacher Appreciation Week is always the first week of May, but the Tri-County Women’s Connection will celebrate teachers from Fannin, Towns and Union counties at our ‘THANK YOU TEACHERS’ luncheon on Wednesday, June 5. " A teacher takes a hand, opens a mind, and touches a heart" (unknown) We are so excited to have a teacher from each county to represent teachers in the North Georgia mountains. Teachers, past or present, are invited so if you are planning to attend, please be sure to make your reservation as soon as possible. If you know a teacher, invite her as your guest – what a great start to her summer vacation! All of us have past hurts but Glenda Smith, our Speaker from Snellville, will challenge us to move on! Despite her desperate and hopeless childhood, Glenda will tell us “How It Is Possible To Get Past The Past, When It’s Past Overdue”. A Georgia native, Glenda is married, mother of two sons and grandchildren. She is a former Computer Programmer and Systems Analyst and a Consultant to several large Atlanta corporations. Our luncheon venue is the North Georgia Technical College, Building A, Highway 515, Blairsville. The cost is $15 and includes the program, door prizes, and a delicious lunch catered by Amazing Grace Catering & Events. Check-in begins at 11:30 a.m. with the program starting at noon. For more than 35 years, the Tri-County Women’s Connection in Blairsville has planned and hosted luncheons for women that provide a positive, upbeat time of fun, food and friendship.
