The earth gifts us each year with plants that help us release that which has been stored over the winter through cleansing and detoxification, allowing us to more abundantly invite in the new. Spring tonics aid in digestion, liver function, elimination of toxins, and are high in nutrients. Come celebrate this season on rebirth and renewal by exploring the food and medicine growing all around us!

In this class, we'll identify edible spring greens on the grounds, learn about wildcrafting, discuss properties of specific plants, and create delicious treats for tasting and taking home. Participants are asked to come with gear for walking in whatever weather we have, pen and paper, and an open mind about the most undervalued taste in our culture: bitter!"
