Puttin' on the Dog"
It is time for the Sixteenth Annual Fundraiser for the Humane Society's Mountain Shelter. This year it will be held at a new location, the Towns County Recreation Center in Hiawassee. There will be a buffet catered by Brothers and a grand dessert buffet. Wine and beer are included in the $35 per person ticket price. Proceeds from the event will provide for cats and dogs at this well-run, no-kill shelter. Silent and live auctions will be held and two live dance bands will be performing.
