Learn to nuno felt using alpaca fiber from our alpacas at Lasso the Moon Alpaca Farm.  This one day class will teach you all the basics needed to finish a gorgeous scarf using hand dyed silk chiffon as the base (you choose the color of silk you want) and dyed alpaca fiber from our animals.  Nuno means cloth and nuno felting is the practice of felting on top of a loosely woven cloth.  You will enjoy this fun, forgiving and easy to learn technique.  It is a great introduction to felting if you have never felted before.  
 
Class begins at 10:00 am with hot coffee/tea and pastry as we go over the different felting techniques and different wools and materials that can be used in felting.  We will then walk to our felting studio, visiting with the alpacas on our way.

A gourmet farm to table style lunch is served around 1:OO pm.  

All materials are included. Directions and resource pages are provided via email following the class. 

We will visit the store/gallery where a glass bead making demo is done upon request following the class.

This is great thing to do with a group of friends.  Can't make this class date, but have at least four friends that may be interested in taking a class?  We can schedule the class for any time...weekday, Sunday, what ever works best.
