Ladies Night Out: Dinner and Fashion Show! You and your friends are invited to enjoy dinner, a summer fashion show, and entertainment in the banquet room of the Union County Community Center, 129 Union County Recreation Road, overlooking beautiful Butternut Creek Golf Course Tuesday, June 25, 2024 from 6-8 pm, doors open at 5:30. The evening begins with a scrumptious dinner of beef tips in mushroom sauce, mashed potatoes, broccoli, honey glazed carrots, bread, dessert, coffee, tea and water. Following the delicious dinner, our entertainment begins as soloist Alicia Ivey gets the party started! Next are door prizes! Models then sail into a “Summer Styles Showcase” with the newest fashions from The Josephine Boutique where owner Abby Weaver, offers unique quality with favorable prices. Abby is a Blairsville original who had a dream to one day transition her little vintage camper (aka “Josephine”) into a mobile boutique. As Abby was toying with the idea of participating in festivals and markets with Josephine, she decided to open a shop in downtown Blairsville. Although “Josephine” is not at the shop, you may see her out and about this summer! At The Josephine, Abby’s focus is on price point as well as quality clothing for both casual and those special occasions. All are welcome and sizes XS through XXL are available. Located just off the square at 68A Merchants Walk, store hours are Tuesday -Friday 10 am-6 pm and Saturday 10 am-3 pm. Alicia Ivey’s own story “A Purse, A Key, A Hat, and A Song “concludes our evening. Alicia grew up in a musical family and traveled extensively. Formerly in marketing, Alicia is a wife, mom, and music director who enjoys cooking, song writing and travel. Please plan to enjoy this special evening with us and invite a friend!
