Ladies Luncheon - Tri-County Women's Connection June luncheon & program

LADIES LUNCHEON OASIS – Enriching Your Life Through Education and Relationships! You and your friends are invited to attend our entertaining and scrumptious June luncheon on Wednesday, June 6th, held this month at the North Georgia Tech School Banquet Room, 121 Meeks Avenue, Blairsville. After being pampered by the culinary students with an incredibly delicious meal, our program begins with Stan Wallace, Director (since 2008) of OASIS (“Outstanding Adults Sharing in Service”), an educational, non-denominational enrichment program for persons 50 years of age and older sponsored by the First United Methodist Church of Union County in Blairsville. Stan will share with us the varied and exciting programs offered by OASIS, held on Thursdays in the winter, spring and fall. In addition to educational opportunities, OASIS offers people the opportunity to form new relationships. Its attendees come from six counties in Georgia, Tennessee and North Carolina! Born in Owensboro, Kentucky, Stan calls Dothan, Alabama home. His wife Patricia is a first grade teacher at Union County Primary School. Stan is a graduate of Troy University and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. His interests include golf and woodworking. Suzy has served with several volunteer organizations and loves to hike, bike, swim and spend time with her family. You won’t want to miss this month’s luncheon. Bring a friend! The cost is $15 cash (correct change is appreciated) or by check payable to Tri-County Women's Connection and includes the program, door prizes, and a delicious buffet lunch complete with your beverage and dessert.
