John C. Campbell Folk School Forge After Dark

The John C. Campbell Folk School invites you to Forge After Dark, a two-day event celebrating blacksmithing and community! Kicking off Friday evening, November 1, enjoy live demonstrations, try axe throwing, savor BBQ, kettle corn, cider, and more! Enjoy family-friendly activities, a photo booth, and a warm bonfire! On Saturday, November 2, join us from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. for the highly anticipated live auction in Keith House. The auction will showcase handcrafted ironwork and fine crafts, with proceeds supporting the Folk School's mission. Auction previews run from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., with bidding from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. This free event invites all ages to experience the beauty of traditional blacksmithing while supporting a cherished community institution.
