Callie Moore, Executive Director of the Hiwassee River Watershed Coalition. The one-hour lecture presentation will be aimed toward helping land owners identify potential erosion sources and also to give them suggestions for restoring problem areas that might include hillsides, house sites, and stream banks. After the lecture, participants may tour the recent stream bank stabilization project to learn how to maintain water quality on their property. This seminar requires walking out doors on hills and uneven surfaces. Dress appropriately for the weather.
