Felting an Alpaca Scarf - Lots of Locks Skinny Scarf

Learn to felt using alpaca fiber from our alpacas at Lasso the Moon Alpaca Farm.  This one day class will teach you all the basics needed to finish a gorgeous scarf using loads of textures, including mohair locks, dyed silks, silk hankies, bamboo, fire star, suri alpaca locks &  dyed alpaca fiber from our animals. 
 
Class begins at 10:00 am with hot coffee/tea and pastry as we go over the different felting techniques and different wools that can be used in felting.  We will then walk to our felting studio, visiting with the alpacas on our way.  Arrive early to take the full farm tour or shop in the studio store.

A gourmet farm to table style lunch is served around 1:OO pm.  

All materials are included. Directions and resource pages are provided via email following the class. 

We will visit the store/gallery where a glass bead making demo is done upon request following the class.

This is great thing to do with a group of friends.  Can't make this class date, but have at least four friends that may be interested in taking a class?  We can schedule the class for any time...weekday, Sunday, what ever works best.
