Mark your calendars for the Ethnobotanical Gardens Grand Opening, Friday, June 14th. The event kicks off at the GMREC Auditorium at 10 a.m. as Kelly Bowen of Full Bloom Nursery will present on deer resistant gardening. After Ms. Bloom’s program, guided tours of the gardens will begin.
Ms. Bowen, a Georgia Certified Plant Professional, is the owner of Full Bloom Nursery in Clermont, Georgia. She is also the co-host of Homegrown Live Gardening Radio Program on WDUN AM 550 & FM 102.9 Saturday mornings. Ms. Bowen’s 30 years of experience in the horticulture industry specializing in landscape design, plant propagation, and nursery management make her the perfect person for the garden grand opening. Full Bloom nursery will have plants for sale at the event.
