Enotah CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) trains citizen volunteers to speak for a child’s best interest when they are involved in juvenile court through no fault of their own. These trained volunteers advocate for the child’s best interest and make recommendations to the juvenile judge to assist in making decisions about what is best for the child. You can help Enotah CASA continue it’s mission by signing up to join us for the Everyday Heros Run in HIawassee, GA on April 7th. You may run or walk the race. Sign up at www.active.com, or go to this link. https://www.active.com/hiawassee-ga/running/distance-running-races/everyday-heros-5k-and-10k-2018?int=
In addition to the run, CASA will be recognizing citizen heroes who go above and beyond every day. You may nominate a candidate to be considered for an “Everyday Heroes Award” by completing the attached application. Also, join us on the Hiawassee Square on April 7th at 9:30 to meet the Everyday Heroes recognized for their efforts in the community. You may also call 706 864-0300 to learn more or become a volunteer.
