Specialists are here to help you be successful in your home fruit production. If you are interested in growing blueberries or apples, experts will hold several classes to help you be successful.
No pre-registration is necessary. Seating is limited to the first 100 in attendance. Please also see the Apple Grafting Workshop happening on this date.

10:30 - 12 PM AM Blueberry Pruning with Jacob Williams, UGA Union County Extension Agent. Requires walking out doors on hills and uneven surfaces. Dress appropriately for the weather.
12 PM Lunch on your own.
1:30 - 2:30 PM Apple Disease & Insect Control for Homeowners with Ashley Hoppers, UGA Fannin County Extension Coordinator.
3:00 - 4:30 Apple Pruning with Dr. Tom Kon, NC State Apple Research Specialist. Requires walking out doors on hills and uneven surfaces. Dress appropriately for the weather.

The Auditorium and Orchard of the Georgia Mountain Research & Education Center, 3 miles south of the Blairsville Square, on the east side of Hwy 19/129.
