Mountain Valley Motors - RAM Trucks, our main sponsor, and the Circle N Rodeo Company will again present the 2020 Blairsville Professional Rodeo hosted by Union County Saddle Club.  This rodeo is sanctioned by the International Professional Rodeo Association (IPRA) and the Southeastern Pro Rodeo Association (SPRA).  This year’s event will be held on June 18^th and 19^th at the beautiful, covered Union County arena.  The stadium style bleachers will assure that you will not miss a second of the action with a great view.  Gates will open both nights at 6 p.m. and the fun will start at 8 p.m. Each night will begin with a presentation by our very own Union County Sass ‘n Saddle Precision Drill Team.  They will also perform an additional routine just prior to intermission.  Events include Bareback Bronc Riding, Saddleback Bronc Riding, Steer Wrestling, Team Roping, Tie-Down Roping, Cowgirl Break-away Roping, Cowgirl Barrel Racing, and Bull Riding.  Our stock contractor, Hedrick Rodeo Company, always supplies top quality livestock! There will also be plenty of things for our little Cowboys and Cowgirls to do like the calf scramble, pony rides, mechanical bull, four station euro-bungee jump, and others.  Sign up for the Steer Dressing Contest where a team of 3 catches a wild steer and dresses him in clothes provided. Prize money will be awarded to the winning team.  There will also be plenty of great food so help spread the word and come on out and enjoy a night of excitement.  Advance ticket sales will start on June 1st.  Advanced prices are: Adults - $12.00, Children 6-12 - $7.00 and children under 5 enter Free.  Prices at the gate will be Adults - $15.00, Children 6-12 - $10.00 and children under 5 enter Free.  Advanced ticket sales locations will be at Mountain Valley Motors, United Community Banks in Fannin, Union, and Towns counties, American Cowboy Store, Nelson Tractor, and General Supply, or on the website.
